Crownwell has sourced the industries’ best and most talented with many of the staff training and studying institutions from around the world. However, we pride ourselves on having an over 90% indigenous workforce, which is aligned with our aim of providing jobs for Nigeria’s people and youth.

We also have a considerably sized back office function with departments including Finance, HR, Operations and Sales. Company HSE Policies and Plans are drawn up and fully operational. All staff have been health and safety trained with self-development plans to ensure that we continually invest in developing highly skilled and competent staff.

We have a technical team of exploration geoscientists and geophysicists who focus primarily on data acquisition and interpretation. The team is led by the University of Nigeria’s top geoscience lecturer Dr Eze Martins.

The team have worked with large multinationals including Shell, Agip and Total. The technical team focuses on research and development, their objectives include outlining a low-cost technology strategy that will enable maximised and sustainable recovery of resources.

Crownwell also outsources some of its data acquisition programmes to robust and competent contractors however virtually all jobs hitherto contracted out have been handled by local, indigenous contractors.
